2024 Summer Junior Sailing Program
About this event
Thank you for your interest in registering your child in Spray Beach Yacht Club's Summer Junior Sailing Program! We have a long and proud history of teaching young people to sail.
Our Summer Junior Sailing Program is for children ages 7-18. Children must be age 7 by June 1 or have finished first grade. Summer Juniors may not turn 19 during the calendar year.
To take part and to register in our exciting Summer Junior Sailing Program children must already be registered Juniors and entered into our database. If your child is not currently a registered Summer Junior member please contact the Club Office to do so.

Parents of a Summer Junior:
• The Summer Junior’s parents are not Club Members and, as such, have only the right to access Club grounds and Club activities during Junior Sailing as outlined in the House Rules for guests.
• Parents of a Summer Junior may have access to the Club grounds in the vicinity of the Junior activity. The docks are not to be accessed, unless supporting a Junior activity or accompanied by a Senior Club Member.
• Access to Club grounds for parents of a Summer Junior when their Junior is not participating in Junior sailing or Junior activities is not permitted, unless accompanied by a Senior Club Member.
• Parents of a Summer Junior and immediate family are invited to participate in Junior Activities and fundraisers including Family Night, Pot Luck Supper, Annual Pancake Breakfast and Annual Spaghetti Dinner or Ice Cream Social and Awards.
• Additional program rules and guidelines are outlined in the SBYC Junior Sailing and Activities Program Handbook and SBYC House Rules. A copy of each can be found under the Parent Information tab on the Junior drop-down menu.
